Music : https://www.epidemicsound.com/ So it’s a great opportunity for those who want to switch to Agile project management from the traditional waterfall OR if you are new in the project management space then CSM certification is a great way to get started. Even if you are not managing SCRUM team or you are not a project manager / SCRUM Master, I would still recommend getting the certification because the hands-on 2 day training will help you understand the concept better. The 2 day workshop conducted by the trainer will include planning and execution using Agile tools so it’s a great way to learn even if you are team member of SCRUM team. And it’s really really easy compared to any other exams, like PMP or other PMI exams. You can get your certification over the weekend, yes it’s that simple. Just spend a two-day or three-day in-person training offered by training partners listed in the Scrum Alliance . ORG website and you will have 2 day training and also an online test with 30 questions by the end of 2nd day and you will get your certification online the same day. I can guarantee you that, if you put the effort in to just attending the in person training you will have your CSM certification. At the end of that two day training you will have your certification. So it’s that simple and I can guarantee you anybody who attend that training they will have the certification I have not heard of anyone failing the exam for in after taking those training because those trainings are very Hands-On and you will understand all the concepts of Agile, SCURM and KANBAN in those 2 days. How to register for the exam / certification. The first step toward your CSM is to familiarize yourself with the Scrum framework. I will put the link in the description of this video, this is just optional, but if you are completely new to Agile then the resources on this page will help you understand the framework. Then, attend an in-person, two-day (16 hour) CSM course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®) where you’ll get a comprehensive overview of how to organize and support a Scrum Team. After the course, you’ll need to pass the CSM exam. After you pass the CSM exam and accept the License Agreement, complete your Scrum Alliance membership profile and enjoy the benefits of certification. Exam Structure There are only 35 questions and five of them are not score-able. i.e. those 5 questions are put in place for designing the next exams. So out of the total 35 questions only 30 questions will be measured and you have to score 80% to pass. That means you have to get 24 questions right out of the 30 scoring questions. Don’t worry about this 80% high scoring criteria, I am telling you, if you attend the 2 day training you will definitely pass, in case if you don’t pass for some reason then you will have two attempts within 90 calendar days to pass the test at no cost. After two attempts and/or 90 calendar days, you will be charged $25 for each additional attempt. So the test is broken out into four sections or the questions will be broken out into four sections.General,Roles, Meetings and Artifacts. And most of the questions would be around the roles in Agile. For my test I see there were 21 Questions out of 30 that was with respect to roles. So it is important for you to understand the roles of Agile or in general SCRUM. There were 7 questions on my exam that was under General topic, 4 related to meetings and 3 around the agile artifacts. I was in the education industry till 2017 then after my baby I could not go outside to work. In 2020 I started reading about IT sales. Now I want to get certified for CSM. I am totally new to this. Is it possible to crack the exam after 2 days of training or should I first read about it before getting registered?

Typically SCRUM is widely used for IT projects especially good for software development projects. That being said, agile in general is used across all fields of project management such as Healthcare, manufacturing, construction and more.. so you can get agile certified to learn more about Kanban, Lean Management etc
